1, The protective sheath of ADSS fiber cable is AT or PE material, which has the problem of electric corrosion when runs in strong electric field.
2, Wind vibration will occur in the ADSS cable. If stable transverse wind blows to the cable, wind vibration will occur and fatigue damage will occur at the hanging point.
3, Because of the particularity of ADSS cable, it can't be connected arbitrarily as ordinary optical cable. Its connection must be carried out on the transmission line's tension tower or suspension tower, but not in the middle of the transmission line. Generally speaking, on the ground is ok.
